I was driving to work today by Jensen and 59 north and I tuned in to 87.9 fm. And it was back on air with the same Religious spanish language format it had before. I drove all the way to work in the Heights area and it sounded clear at 11:30 am, but when I was driving back home it was of the air. Anybody knows what was that about? Maybe they were testing the station?? Or did the FCC cancel them fast?

This station is running from a church just east of down town this is the first report I have heard it of it since 2006

Werent there two different stations in the same frecuency? One was Radio Manantail De Vida from the east side of downtown and the other one was Radio Poder from the Irvington and Berry Area? I wonder if they are coming back.

I only know of the one just east of down town runnin for a church never heard the other one. The one east of down town runs some power from what I have heard

Djboutit so you're saying it is an official station? What are the call signs? Or is it a private station?

It is a pirate station

It could be a Church rebroadcasting it for people to use to hear better in the Church. 87.9 sounds like that kind of broadcasting to me.

I heard it agian today, so its only coming on Sundays??
