87.9 is killing Pulse 87

Usually I can pick up Pulse 87 nice and clear at the Jersey Gardens Mall, until this pirate on 87.9 was bleeding through. Not to mention how horrible the audio was, as if they sound like they were broadcasting from the airport. I wonder sometimes, if someone would do a pirate, but play dance or alternative, how quickly the FCC would shut them down, but leave the rap and caribbean pirates for YEARS on the air.

Same in the Philly area, Metal, Alternative, Hard Rock, Punk/Grunge pirates were shut down in a few days where-as the Rap/Hip Hop/Urban pirates continue to rule the airwaves with nothing being done, dont know why....

Fans of dance and alternative think they are better than pirate radio. Most pirates are Carribean because where the operators are from, pirate radio is encouraged. What rock pirates were in Philly?

w n r r way back in 1967 (no request radio ) in monaural ... 88.8 ... an actual power , p 2 p , of 500 watts

Here In Nutley, NJ where I am which is about 12 miles NNW from the Jersey Gardens Mall, on 87.9 I can hear Pulse 87 loud and clear, even stronger than being on the 87.7 frequency where it is originally broadcasting on. No sign of any other pirate on 87.9...

Take a listen to 87.9 on Thursdays, that pirate will kick in. Mostly you will here creole than music.
