Just noticed that 88.1 and 93.7 The Connection is off the air. looking on there Facebook wall and it seems like they been off the air all month

"WNYX Connection 88 Radio Unfortunately is off the air right now due to lack of financial support. We are not sure how we are going to move forward. Please keep us in your prayers."

HA! I'm praying the 93.7 fm translator goes to Drive FX :)

THe Poughkeepsie translator on 106.3 is also off, for a while it ran dead air but now seems off completely.

Does WVCR at Siena College have a translator on 106.3? Somehow it's making it to Poughkeepsie there with a classic hits format.
Our 88.3 has Sound of Life, and I never was able to get WVCR before. Usually if the WNYX translator was off, I would get either WFAF or a station in New Jersey.

That is the Poughkeepsie translator on 106.3 with WVCR-88.3.... it's picking up 88.3 instead of 88.1. You're right, WVCR is very hard to hear in Poughkeepsie, so I don't know how the translator picks it up.... instead of closer 88.3's, but I guess the elevation makes the difference. For a couple of weeks the WNYX translators on 93.7 and 104.1 stayed on the air, picking up other 88.1 signals. They've been off a while now. Anyone know if WNYX is ever coming back on the air?
