88.1 WJSP-FM licensed to Warm Springs with some south metro coverage from Georgia Public Broadcasting has been granted approval to upgrade from a non-directional C1 to a directional class C. Several stations on 88.1, 88.3 and 88.5 forced WJSP to pull back its signal to protect those stations in several different directions. More of the Atlanta market will gain a second public broadcasting choice. The tower is simply moving to the top of its current tower and upgrading from 42 to 100kw in the process.

According to Radio-Locator they don't get that much more of the ATL with the upgrade.

Depending on how far the new signal reaches, it could be a place to hear Talk of the Nation. Otherwise, the schedule is very similar to WABE.
