88.1 Corpus Christi now Spanish Christian

I was listening to this station (I think) last night and heard messages saying that "Air 1 was moving to 103.7". http://radio-locator.com/info/KKWV-FM
I guessed it was this station anyway since the only other Air 1 103.7 I know of is in Houston, and the 88.1 there is something else.


Now though I'm hearing Spanish Christian "Radio Nueva Vida" on 88.1. I guess they dropped Air 1 in favor of Nueva Vida, as Air 1 isn't really needed on the frequency anymore.

Unless KITG went back to Nueva Vida?
If it didn't, then I actually haven't heard KITG on air in a good while. I think they're done with it, I hope it finds a friend before the FCC cancels it for not broadcasting.
 
Makes since, Mouse. No since in duplication between KKWV & KXAI. Looks like EMF leased out KKWV Aransas Pass to the highest bidder.
 
Pretty sure the 103.7 it was referring to was the former KOUL (now KXAI) in Corpus. EMF has been known to run Radio Nueva Vida on excess signals in areas that have a high Hispanic population.
