88.3 The Saint On Sunday's

Since 88.3 The Saint went to the JackFM type format, I have added them to my list of stereo presets. However, this morning Easter sunday I had turned them on since I finally had a chance to give them a listen for half of the day & I am displeased. Those irritating specialty's they had all day til midnight on Sunday's is still going but why? JackFM type formats never have specialty's, they just have a bunch of songs in a row. If any programmer's from 88.3 the saint read this, please Remove those terrible specialty's on sundays. When the format changed that should be a thing of the past, please get rid of those programs already. One other note, this past week I was able to listen for 10-20 mins, so far, great music selection. The name 88.3 the saint still sounds good. But please if I may suggest Howard Cogan should be the only voice of the saint with his liners. He would sound great on 88.3FM. Plus the speed of the songs should be slowed down a little bit. A lot of the songs sound too fast.

Keep in mind, this is a COLLEGE radio station, not a pro shop. Just about every college station needs to run "specialty" programming. I agree it doesn't fit with the rest of the format, but college stations don't truly compete for ARB numbers and listeners like the big boys.
