880 flips to Spanish?

I guess somebody told the "Big Mouth" to shut up! I'll miss Al Sharpton on the radio, but at least he's on MSNBC now.

This flip must have happened over the weekend when nobody was on the air, or at midnight last night.

The music format sounds a little like Chicago's Mega 95.5 - current Spanish pop with some high tempo 80s/90s classics mixed in.

In other words: There's a "Spanish River" flowing through Nashville!

After doing some more research, the station is playing "Spanish Variety Hits" and they call themselves "El Sol" (translates to "The Sun").

They have a one page website so far: http://elsol880.com/

I listened for their sign-off @ 4:45...music rolled on until 4:46...when the carrier was dumped
mid-tune with no legal ID. WCBS heard underneath.

Meanwhile, over on WVOL, the Rev. T.J. Graham has been off the air for a few days now apparently due to some health issues (this per his Facebook wall page).
