WMSJ from the coast of ME; comes in from time to time on North Shore.
89.3 has been a pirate freq for awhile around these parts

interesting info,so you guys think I was hearing this direct from Maine?
I thought the pirate might be selling time or a zealot took over the frequency,nothing on that channel as of two hours ago,I will see what they play over the next week or so.
time to get offline as the electrcal storm is coming.

Yes, I've heard it around greater Boston at times too, when local pirates haven't been blocking it out. All it takes is a little common summertime "tropospheric ducting" skip to bring the signal down the coast.

Yes--in recent times the pirate was Haitian (from Medford/Somerville area
maybe?) though a couple years ago Beverly-based Tickle Spider Radio made
some appearances at 89.3 (run by D.J. Shaver and allied with the
Church of the SubGenius)

If the Feds make a move are they going to take out all 4 pirates on various frequencies or just pick on this guy?
I listen to 89.3 once in a while,I kinda like it.
