I first noticed this station in the Fall of 2008 and it sounded very hokey to me. It seemed like they had "commercials". More than what an underwriting announcement would sound like but more like a commercial. There was no website or anyway to get a hold of them until they domain was registered 2-19-10. There were sites for the other "Q" stations in Florida but no links on their site worked and the phone numbers were disconnected. On their site is a non-working link for sponsors. On a non-commercial station. A few weeks ago in the Pacifica Tribune it tells about how Bill Lacy wants to make this a community radio station. So, I am looking forward to high school football games, city council meetings, PSA's that pertain to Pacifica like beach info. I wonder if all this is gonna happen or will we continue to hear music off of satellite and get the number for Pizza Hut in Key West. Something ain't right here!
