890/1400 baseball includes Red Sox; Media Blitz, Sarandis

It was mentioned in today's Globe and also on Boston Radio Watch that the post-season baseball action ESPN 890/1400 is carrying will also include
the Red Sox. The world champs will of course also be on WEEI with Red Sox
radio network. Will this continue into the ALCS and World Series, should
they make it that far? (Supposedly it will.) Of course most people would probably choose the
home team of Joe and Jerry versus whom ESPN is putting on...

Also Media Blitz
mentions that Ted Sarandis will speak out in a week or ten days. Last
night Mike Adams, the rumored successor, premiered what is for now being
called "WEEI at night". Regular caller Ray from Lynn, a baseball expert,
offered his best wishes to Ted, and another caller asked what was up with
Ted and he was informed that Ted is no longer with the station but will
still be heard on BC basketball. It was an abbreviated version of
post-7pm sports talk last night due to Monday Night Football.

Oh no!! Who is Ray from Lynn going to call and regale about obscure minor leaguers for half an hour?

... a two-fer... no more Ted, no more Ray (maybe)... I can safely tune my radio back to 850 in the evenings even when there's not a Sox game.

I know I HATE when people talk straight sports and dont over dramatize everything....Says a lot about this guy I guess he likes when people argue and talk over each other about nonsense

you can talk straight sports and not be deadly dull. Ray's calls put me to sleep.
