8th grade radio students voicetracking one hour shows

After I retired this past June as a full-time teacher after 38 years, I was blessed with the position of station manager/radio teacher for 3 classes. I have a total of eight 8th graders in two of those three classes. Combined with freshmen through seniors, I have 20 students. Each of my students does a one-hour radio show in their rotation. My third class is made up almost totally of 8th grade honor students. I am so proud of these students; they constantly strive to get better, and they act more mature than their years. In fact, my wife stated that you can't really tell that these are 8th graders. We are fortunate to have a combined middle/high school situation, making this possible. The operations manager of our local three-station group, for which I do part-time work, has been invaluable in helping me make this station the most unique found anywhere in our state, if not in our part of the country. I do not say all of this to brag, only that I want radio to be relevant for these students and everyone they touch via social media as well as daily personal contact.
