9 kHz AM Frequency of the Week - 1044 kHz

What do you get on 1044 kHz?

For me it's just the upper edges of WJTB/N. Ridgeville, OH (1040) during the day and at night, the upper edges of WHO's signal and less IBOC from WBZ which is very apparent on 1040 (and 1020)

From Eindhoven NL, in the early '90s.

I've picked up Dresden, Germany on a regular basis. At that time it was running at 250 kW, listed as S1 (Sachen 1 -in my 1991 copy of WRTH), though today its part of MDR and rated at 20 kW. Also listed is the 10 kW Spanish broadcaster from San Sebastian (a stunning town BTW, in the Basque region of Spain), which still operating at that power today.
