9 kHz AM Frequency of the Week - 1485 kHz

What can you get on 1485 AM?

Here it is nothing but mixed splatter from 1480 and 1490 stations at night (a virtual graveyard and an actual graveyard) on wide mode and nothing on narrow mode.

In Perth Australia, a good example of a quiet frequency, something I'm not sure exists in North America any more. I have heard ABC Local out of Port Lincoln SA, 200 watts at 1,200 miles from here. About 2/3 water path, but still pretty nice. Otherwise, nothing here but noise, no high powered stations on the frequency in this part of the world.
