9 kHz AM Frequency of the Week - 1593 kHz

What have you gotten on 1593 kHz?

For me, tuning to 1593 kHz just gives me upper off frequency reception of WAKR 1590 from Akron, OH with the radio in wide mode.

Finally I get to post on a 9khz thread....

1593 was the very last time I ever heard across the Atlantic from my home in FL, early 1990s I would say. It had to have been Germany---who else could it be?---and they have since signed off.

I have logged the following stations on 1593 khz from here in Newfoundland

1593 khz - KUWAIT - Kuwait City VOA Relay 23:26 UTC 3/7/08
1593 khz - GERMANY - Radio Free Europe Kolzkirchen 23:50 UTC 9/2/08
1593 khz - FRANCE- Radio Bretagne 5 21:49 UTC 11/10/11
1593 khz - ROMANIA-Romania Actualitati various 23:19 UTC 5/9/12

Perth Australia - CNR-1 from Changzhou (600 kw, 4,400 mi North of here) is a regular almost every evening. Asiawaves says it's directional to the WSW, but is the most consistent signal from China. I also hear a bit of Rete Italia from Melbourne but it's never on top.
