Back in December of 2009, I caught Radio Maria on 675 from the Netherlands using the trusty old DX-440 & external wire.

How were you able to null WSCR?

radioman148 - that's a great question. To be quite honest, I don't remember anymore. This was before I was using phased antennas and I just started messing around with BOG antennas. My notes don't mention any splatter from WSCR but I did note the piano music that I heard was parallel to their webstream for the confirmation. I haven't logged them since, even with the Perseus and phased BOGs that I use now. Must have been ideal conditions that night.

Back in its day as oldies/classic rock "The Arrow", the Netherlands 675 was perfectly listenable in London and throughout southeast England 24/7. Even with a couple of BBC blowtorches nearby on 648 and 693. A very impressive signal. Presumably it still is..

Two stations heard on 675 khz from here in Newfoundland

675 khz - LIBYA - LJB Benghazi
675 khz - NETHERLANDS - R. Maria Lopik

Also previously Arrow Rock before it was R. Maria on 675

(my apologies for my inadvertent double post...moderator should feel free to delete one of them)

Perth Australia - ABC Local Radio Kimberley in Broome (on the north coast), occasionally Voice of Vietnam underneath. I've heard something else, possibly Qatar underneath Broome in the early morning, but too weak to tell for sure.
