9 kHz AM Frequency of the Week - 963 kHz

My little eye spies CRI on this frequency, with a 600 kW (ND) transmitter based in Pori, Finland. It's scheduled to open up with a two hour broadcast in Russian, beginning at 0300 UTC (10 pm EST). Worth a listen, me thinks.

Schedule ~>

0300-0500 Russian
1700-1900 Russian
1900-2000 Polish
2000-2100 Czech
2100-2300 German

Happy hunting!

From Perth Australia, it's 6TZ in Bunbury WA, running a Hot AC format as part of the Radio West network. I've also heard Mount Gambiar in South Australia, but nothing outside of the country yet.
