90.1 KXRL Cherry Valley, AR is now on the air

Thanks for the information. I'm listening to them on the web and they sound pretty good. They have have more of a local feel, even though they're actually in Delaware.

I know I won't be able to get them where I live near Jackson, but do they have a listenable signal at least in some parts of Memphis? In looking at RECNet I get the impression that they might come in at West Memphis and the Northwest parts of Memphis, similar to Air 1 in Marked Tree, but not all over the city. It looks like it should be a good station to tune in to on trips to Little Rock though.

heard a promotional spot for something at a church in Jonesboro so they are indeed trying to operate it with a more local feel than say K-Love.

I noticed it at my home in midtown. I would guess the signal would be about the same as 103.9 Earl FM and maybe less in Memphis considering they are sandwiched between WEVL and WMAV.

I was in Memphis last week. If I had known about it I would have tried to catch it, but I was mainly in the Airport and Wolfchase areas, so I don't know how it would have come in there.

The FCC is killing radio shoving these stations in so close.

Can't hear anything up north here on 90.1 except hash from WEVL.

signal is not good in Memphis not even in Midtown

How could it be with WEVL on 89.9?

I am not all that far from the WEVL's 60dbu coverage to the west...
It slices through at about the weight station on 55
I cannot get a fully quiet stereo signal on WEVL in Midtown.

My singles minister was telling me last night he got a mailing from Reach FM, and we were thinking it hadn't started here yet. (That's what happens when I'm not on the board for over a month.) But I got on the internet last night to listen. Pretty good mix, and I noticed they already had the "top of the hour" liner information for Memphis (as well as two other cities).

Overall, I don't really know how well it will do, considering that the 90.1 frequency is RIGHT NEXT TO 89.9 (WEVL), and how it's going to compete with K-Love. But from what I've heard so far and looking at their top songs list, looks like a bigger variety than K-Love.

when is satan gonna get a radio station? I forgot he has one and it ends with an x. You know that headbanger 92.9. I just don't understand what that station is playing or why they don't go in another direction. Am i the only one. raptime is my time.
