From the Home News Tribune
GOING LIVE: Piscataway High School-Rutgers University Radio Station will go live with its new tower 6 p.m.-10 p.m. Oct. 6.
The station, 90.3 WVPH-FM will hold a banquet to celebrate the completion of its "Tower of Tomorrow" project.
The "Tower of Tomorrow Radio Marathon" was held in October 2005 with the goal of raising the funds needed to move the WVPH transmitter site from the roof of Piscataway High School to the top of a 250-foot tower located on the Rutgers Livingston Campus.
The marathon raised more than $20,000 to get the project started.
Now, two years after the marathon, the project is complete, thanks in part to additional funding from the Piscataway Board of Education and the Livingston College Governing Association.

------------
The station is stunting all day today and tomorrow. The new transmitter's going live Saturday night at 7. When the station was testing the new transmitter, I was able to hear the station well 20 miles away.
