90.5 NW San Antonio pirate station

There's a pirate on 90.5 I've heard most of the time for the past few months when I've been listening. It used to be on 98.1 in December, but in like Janruary it moved to 90.5.
It's rather strong when driving down Wurzbach Parkway near I10, and I can pick it up all the way to Lockhill-Selma. It's not strong enough at my current location to record it, but I'll describe the format.
It's nonstop music. The quality is excellent and the music is all over the place. I've heard everything from unedited rap to 60's oldies music, classic rock and modern soft rock music, even some country. Someone is obviously having some fun, but why they haven't donated the equipment to a local LPFM is beyond me. LOL the FCC's going to find out sooner or later and the pirate station is going to get in trouble when they do. From listening I'd say the station gets out a couple miles with a useable signal at least.

If they find an LPFM who needs help getting on the air and share their equipment and music that LPFM might just take off. Just an idea from a listener... Wish I knew who was running it.

Still on with it's wide musical selection. No pause between songs either so they must know what they're doing.

I was able to receive it again today but it seemed stronger. Maybe they moved it slightly. It's on with it's wide music blend. I like it better than Jack FM.

They probably aren't using a type accepted transmitter, which a LPFM can't use. Then again, some LPFMs have been using unapproved transmitters, so what the hey, right?

The Commission is cracking down on pirates. They'll do their work in that area eventually. It's faster if a licensed broadcaster complains. They do.
