90's Replay Weekend

B106 here in Columbia has always been an interesting AC station. This weekend, they are playing all 90's songs. Surprisingly, it's got a little variety to it. I've heard Semi Charmed Life, Pump Up The Jam to Bittersweet Symphony. What's funny is that Steve FM could take a few pointers in freshening up their playlist a little. Would a full blown 90's format work in Columbia? We are oversaturated with classic hits already, but what harm would a little 90's station do? Columbia sure has been stale that's for sure. B106 sadly is the only thing I can bare to listen to this weekend.

B106 audience is older. They'd probably lose a couple points for awhile and then maybe pick up some audience from NOK. Maybe.

WLTY is sounding more 1980's rock based.

The problem with Steve FM is consistency. At one point, they sound classic hits, another they sound AC, and then the other you wonder what the hell is going on. They still throw in some currents such as "I Gotta Feeling" but most of all, they have a huge AC/classic hits agenda.
