91.3 Club Dance Pirate?

After listening to 92.9 and losing it by Exit 16 on I-195, I fliped through the dial and heard a club mix on 91.3. I don't know if 91.3 is legal or not, but I didn't see it listed for anywhere around Jackson. It had a continuous mix going of club extended edits. I kept it on and was getting lost around the Mile 27 post. Is this a legit station or another pirate?

91.3 is WTSR, but that's not supposed to reach Jackson. My guess is yet another pirate station. I wonder if 92.9 and 91.3 are related. Now, as you discovered, I-195 has 3 dance stations receivable along its length!

I wonder if Gov. Christie would ever take a page out of the Florida playbook and make operating an unlic'd radio station a felony. The pirates in North Jersey would probably fill the budget gap.

There are 2 pirate stations in Trenton with a strong signal at the State House. Both have been on for years.

Well, the club dance music is on this frequency, and it IS WTSR. There was a guy saying the call letters WTSR Trenton, NJ, and the signal does reach Jackson, and goes as far as exit 22 on I-195. As for 92.9, it is off the air.

It already is! Thanks to Gramps Lautenberg and when the FCC drops the third adjacent channel for LPFM's, NJ IS NOT included in that. My question is, how would any police force know what is legal or not. Pretty simple to get around.
