91.7 apparently changes format

91.7 is playing 70's to recent adult hits and identifying as "Diego" and not Exa. The pop is gone and Juan Gabriel is playing now. Maybe the Exa format will reappear on the former XHLNC frequency.

Um, by 70s, do you mean, American 70's pop hits, or Spanish 70s hits?

If the station is called "Diego" and it's playing Juan Gabriel, I think the answer is obvious.

No, it isn't or I wouldn't have asked.

Nothing to see here, 91.7 just has another crappy format.

For crying out loud, they could've at least tried a "La Kalle" like format down there.

Exa was (and is elsewhere) very similar to the La Kalle stations in the US. 107.3 is also similar, as is XHRST.

The adult hits format now on 91.7 is a variant on the format on KLQV, which has been the #1 or #2 Spanish language station in PPM.
