91.7 pirate Quincy/Dorch etc.; WILD volume etc

Drove into Quincy last night for a great talk by Donna Halper. Noticed the 91.7 pirate loud and clear
(well, loud and overmodulated) in Dorchester and Quincy and also on the Tobin Bridge etc on the way back.
Foreign lang. and probably the one Eli has mentioned interfering with WMWM at its fringe..how bout the fact
that it's not even all that far from the WUMB stick? In most cases I didn't detect interference but at one point
WUMB seemed to be affected by them (complain to the FCC...) and they also could be affecting WMFO.

WUFC has a billboard on the Southeast Distressway, er, Expressway now; not sure how many listeners they'll get.
9 pm, WJIB 740 coming in well on I-93 nr the Globe etc, night signal by then?

And there's WILD. Oh my. You have to turn it up full blast to hear anything. Is it pushing 20 per cent volume wise?
What a waste of money.

I drove by the area on the Expressway this past Saturday night and also heard that 91.7 Haitian pirate strong and overmodulating, doing a number on WUMB with splatter only a couple of miles from their Quincy transmitter. It was strong from Quincy up to the O'Neill tunnel, and then out the other side, strong again to where I went home in Somerville.

I was guessing its location may have been somewhere in north Dorchester, Roxbury, or the South End. But, as of yesterday, it seems to be GONE (!), and I got the fringe of WMWM again here in Somerville! I hope it's really gone, and not just temporarily off the air.

WMFO is getting interference from another pirate playing Gospel music right on its frequency 91.5, seeming to be coming from maybe Dorchester or Mattapan. It cuts WMFO out from parts of the Back Bay and South End in Boston down through all the Boston neighborhoods to Quincy, where WMLN from Curry College in Milton emerges from the pirate interference instead of WMFO.

I've heard the stream on WILD 1090 on TUNEIN.COM and the audio on the stream is fine. It seems odd that the audio on their stream would be better than their OTA audio.
