So few people listen to either station on the weekends that I'm sure few noticed. I'll bet far more notice tomorrow morning when they drive to work.

Now we're forced to listen to that conservative horse***t from
Hannity, Levin (who has got one of the most annoying voices ever),
Pumpkinhead Rush, Beck, and all the nuts at 660 and 570. It was nice
having an avenue of truth on the airwaves for a change. Sorry to see
them go. All you tunnel visioned Dubya and Rummy lovers got what
you wanted. So much for progressive radio trying to change a bunch
of non-progressive people. Typical Texans.

Don't sweat it. Air America is moving elsewhere on the AM dial (not sure if I'm supposed to say where) but it's not there yet.

There's also XM channel 167, and I believe Sirius runs them, too.

I like that...... ;D

Talk about your culture shock! I almsot feel bad for AA fans - I've been there when a station I like was taken over. What were the numbers like for Air America? Christian stations tend not to think about numbers, but I can't help but think they will be really low. But who knows with Spanish Christian? I slip over to that 106.5 translator - the music is pretty good!

Liberal talk radio does nothing but twist the truth and a lousy job of entertaining. I say it should all be taken off the air. Replacing with Rush...no. 8)

Remember, these are not just Christian stations, they're Catholic stations... there's a big difference.. they'll attract listeners because as they say, people are 'suckers for the Truth.'

I won't get into Catholic bashing here - for a while I thought their chatechism said Moslems were "saved", which would take them out of the realm of Christianity. But their new pope seems to have remedied the situation. Bottom line - I don't know much about that church, I'm not a member, I've known some who were nice people, I've know some who were really dogmatic and mean spirited. Same as any church, or any religion for that matter. I'm Catholic agnostic - and member of a different church.

The new stations sound professionally done - I am sure Catholic listeners will give it a try. I'm not sure other Christians will find much content there that isn't duplicated on other Christian stations - so I don't know how that would translate into ratings. I would think the Northern tier of states would be better for Catholic radio because of the large percentage of Catholic Christians there. It sounds as much like Calvary Chapel radio as anything - not of much interest to me. I listen to Power FM and occasionally KLTY. I suspect most Catholic Christians here are listening to those stations as well already, or to KCBI, KVTT, etc.
