Then again, when you have how many million dollars in the bank do you really care about what is essentially a minimum wage job in SD. She couldnt afford a nice place safe place on the beach with her child with that pay without digging into her own pocket.
Soooo instead of a well connected so cal newport beach cheerleader surfer party girl with major market (Los Angeles) on-air experience on the team...errr...well, San Diego is left with a air talent like in-experienced vulcan star trekkie guy who even buy 91X staff admission say needs work, a 40 year old man who only has board-op experience in classic rock, dance and Hot AC experience who has dungon and dragon parties every tuesday night and reads harry potter (not for his kid...for him, D&D parties and Harry Potter. Age 40. Rock On.), some guy from VH1, and management that CAVED to Mike Hallorans wishes in not hiring a some chic because she would paste him in the afternoons. This is the masterful kick-butt staff assembly at what has been known to be an Alternative legend , First City (?) has come up with? Dude, Halloran runs 91X.
Like I said...SD used to be a Alternative Rock leader....now, not so much. Theres no competion when you fold to a competing station and companys wishes. Even if you try to punk Halloran with bad liners...homeboy owns you.
Shame some chic that did nothing but the right thing got wronged by a bunch of skirts. 91X should be embarresed, not proud that they picked on a girl who did nothing wrong.
