92.1 Stunting Now

The loop is getting really old guys, why not at least update it? How hard can it be?
I thought you were telling me this thread was getting old at first. :)

You're still listening? :)

I can't hear the loop but I'd guess they won't update it. If they're running a loop they probably don't want people sticking around 92.1 but instead to actually go to 101.5. How long is the loop? Is it just a message that says to go to 101.5? Like a 5 second soundbite over and over?

I timed the "looped" message while I was driving. It runs about three minutes. It's K-Hits staff doing mini-comedy bits advising listeners to turn their dials over to 101.5. The first couple of times I heard it, I thought it was kind of amusing. When I do my every morning and afternoon check to see if the new format is on 92.1, it is now aggrivating. If I wasn't such a radio geek, the looped message would have sent me to 101.5 five minutes after it began.

:D lol some great comments!!! why not start a new format on a friday.. right?? since i believe a Rock format is in store... friday i am betting... i was wrong the first time but... i am entitled to a second chance eh?? ;D

How about 92.1 KZZZ? A boring loop tape that puts you to sleep! Of course the calls KBRD would work too! ;D

Someone let me know when the new format launches, I'm tired of checking the loop each day. :)

I'd rather hear a revival of KSSJ 94.7 on 92.1 - I know smooth jazz is not popular anymore, but a place to relax would work in Sacramento.
And hey, they still got KJZY in Sebastopol, so California still has smooth jazz.
