92.3 has a new weekend jock

Ok... cool I guess... in my opinion, this station still needs to step it up a bit musically. It seems to me that Z's playlist is a lot bigger or at least more varied, than NOW's. I feel like NOW is still feeling out it's identity musically speaking. Yes they are more rhythmic, but if they are going to go that route... play stuff that HOT 97 wouldn't play... hint hint hint... a LITTLE bit more sprinkling of dance wouldn't hurt here... OR, if they are trying to really compete with Z100, then play more new music, more often! I think that's one of the keys here.
 
If now was sounding just like Amp in LA, and a little dose of Pulse, I can bet you that Now will land in the top 10.

I bet most of us have NEVER programmed a radio station with 3 Million in cume but it's fun speculate! ;D
 
Maybe you should take a page out of X's book and see how fast they knocked out La Mega out of the top 10 minus the signal upgrade. If you really want to take your competition out, you would find something no other format has ever done, at the same time, enough so that the ads keep rolling. With all the promos 92.3 did with knocking Z really didn't do a dent to Z's numbers now did they ;D I'm sorry that Amp LA spoiled me.

Actually AMP in LA didn't make a dent in KIIS's number either...
 
Amp did enough to be taken serious once they premiered. They didnt knock KIIS off the top yes, but Amp did get their cume and ratings up within a short period of time.
 
Why does NOW keep spending money on all these weekend jocks? Also, what happened to Esau East (sp?)?
