92.3 is Word FM?

I just came across http://radio-locator.com/info/WBMP-FM, which says that 92.3 is Word FM. Is there any validity to a Word FM station in NYC? (Obviously CBS isn't selling or doing an LMA)

Again, I'm assuming somebody at radio locator made an error, but is there anything behind it?

Wow remind a christian station kinda name sound like a mistake on there behalf would leave 1035 fm as. A top40 station if it did happen

Whatever station that used to be WBMP must've been called "Word FM." When a station changes call letters to call letters that used to be used elsewhere Radio-Locator usually carried over the format and/or slogan that used to be connected to that call sign.

Yeah, as useful a resource as Radio-Locator can be at times, they're not always up-to-date in a timely manner.

MarcB is right. WZZD/88.1 in Warwick, PA was previously WBMP from 1999-2004, and currently broadcasts Word FM, a CCM-formatted network in Pennsylvania.
