who ever sang this song we are the world for haiti I thought that was nice because they did a very good job
because when I saw picture and photo I thought that was hard on them going through that ever since I saw that I don't think i would have survive it either
i hope the people that are alive take it easy for a while and try and live well they can

What does this have to do with 92.3? Since we're on this topic, frankly I think the new version is good in parts and stinks in other parts. The original was sung by artists who for the most part had been established for years. Granted in many cases their popularity has waned now but that comes with middle age. There are too many fly-by-night people participating in the new version. There are also some artists who deserve credit for their success in the musical genres they perform in but when it comes to having to actually sing and carry a tune for more than 10 seconds they can't do it. There's both good and bad in the new version but the general effect is about a C-minus.
 
I haven't listened to the new version yet. I've been busy cutting my nails. When I feel inspired I will give it a listen.
