92.3 San Antonio soon to launch with KONO-AM

I don’t know anything about when it’s going to launch, but it won’t cover much area. It will cover about half the northwest side, and that’s about it. It will also have to be directional away from KRNH 92.3 out of Kerrville. I guess, location aside, it’s not much worse than any other translator, and I don’t think it cost Cox anything other than employees' and/or contractors' time. However, I look at that translator and just think, “Why bother?”.

Their plan may to try to get a better frequency later on.
