92.3 The Fort to simulcast WOWO

Here's a "LET'S GO THERE" thought:

HD-2 for a classic rock format on 98.9 FM.

A long shot?? Or what do the masses think here?? I say it's time for commercial HD in Fort Wayne, why not the Bear?? Keep the current format, maybe ditch the mornings for Bob and Tom, and put the Fort's playlist on an HD-2 channel. THOUGHTS???????

I'm sure the 10 people in Fort Wayne who have a HD radio would enjoy it. HD radio was a farce and I'd wager it'll be no more in the near future.

Well the masses, what few there are, have begun an effort, via Facebook, to keep 92.3 The Fort.
Nice try...too late.

Only TIME and NUMBERS will dictate what happens next. And those favor talk radio. The cow is gone my friends, burn down the barn.

WBOI has two HD feeds.

I doubt that the investment in the equipment would be worth it for FedMed.

An interesting idea though.

I don't think Premier/CC would go for that.It would open a can worms for the sponsors.

I didn't record it but they ended with Billy Elvis, Uncle Cliff, Tiny and Gibby singing along to Van Halen's "Happy Trails."
They were in a mood to go off with a laugh.

after hearing that I remember the last song (before Happy Trails) was Van Halen's "Stay Frosty." I liked that call. Had to be Cliffy's choice.

n.b. 92.3FM is in Mono.

The sound on 92.3 is HORRIBLE! Limbaugh especially sounds like he is broadcasting from inside a drum. The shows actually sound better on WOWO, which is reallly absurd.

Mogan David is the Market Chief Engineer for both of these Federated Media stations ...why not express your opinion to him. While you're at it...suggest that they turn off the IBOC hash generator on 1190.
