92.3 has been non-stop serial shooter coverage EVEN AFTER the "other" major news story. I'm not going to say nobody cares about the serial shooter story, but this is m.o. for 92.3: if the story breaks during their broadcast day, they milk it all for its worth. If story breaks on the weekend outside their broadcast hours (e.g., the French election), it has to wait til Monday morning. By this criteria, if the Phoenix PD had made their whole hubbub on a weekend, it would be a total non-story on 92.3, just like the French election is. How is this observation incorrect?
As to the serial shooter, I'm sick of hearing the alleged shooter's name -- why is 92.3 intent on celebritizing him? -- when I can't recall ever hearing any of the victims names in any of these stories. If they're spending so much time milking this story, wouldn't it be a little more respectful to mention who some of those victims were. The coverage on 92.3 could not be any more tedious and monotonous.
