It was KSBR San Bruno. I was later relocated to Stockton and broadcasted from the top of Mt. Diablo with 250,000w ERP with tremendous coverage. It was co-owned with KOVR-TV and KGDM (Now KHTK).

The station wen't dark in the late 50's.

KGMS-FM in Sacramento signed on in the late 50's. KULA broadcasting purchased KGMS-AM 1380 and had no interest in buying KGMS-FM 100.5. So the station was sold to Family Radio and call letters were changed to KEBR.

Family paid someling low like $20,000 for KGMS-FM and ran it until 1988 when they sold it to Duchesouis (SP).
