92.7 & 101.5 Pirates

Anybody ever heard these 2 pirates 92.7 Bacliff & 101.5 Houston need more info on these 2 if you have any

Wrong! At least in the case of 101.5. Last couple of times I locked onto them on the S/W Freeway it was a hispanic preacher and he kept repeating "Bandito" or, Bandit-so I assume that what they call themselves. The station had good coverage. About 5 miles each direction from where I assume the tower is.

For those who are wondering, I think the tower, transmitter and studio are near or in the same place that the 95.3 pirate was broadcasting from before they went away.

Bandito! hahahaha, that's funny man

It's a religious spanish format. the word you keep hearing is "Bendito", it means blessed.

Just imagine a bunch of preachers calling each other bless!
Haven't heard the station, but if anyone goes out to search for it, try looking for churches around that area. I have read over the past years about spanish religious pirates and they are usually stationed inside the church (since most churchs have bells or towers, they use that as an antenna)

Did not hear your pirate on 101.5 this afternoon between 3 and 5pm while I was running errands in The Galleria area. KSTB Crystal Beach simulcasting KAYD 101.7 and WYNK 101.5 Baton Rouge were fighting it out for top station. This is the first time that I have positively received KSTB in The Galleria area since the move to the sand bar and low power.

Had KMDL "The Dawg" Kaplin/Lafayette 97.3 booming in with Country and also caught KNGT "Gator Country" 99.5 with a good signal. Didn't have time to seek out any more stations, but seems like conditions are ripe for some good ducting tonight.
