92.7 MAX FM...is this a new station?

From Vermilion, OH, I was picking up a station today identifying itself only as '92.7 MAX FM' I could tell that it is from Ontario. Is this a new station that just went on the air or one that changed format recently? I have never heard this station before and I live in Ohio. Usually on 92.7, if anything, I will hear 'BX93' from London, Ontario.

You heard CJSP out of Leamington. Up until Jnauary 4th, it was "Country 92.7 CJSP". Blackburn Radio, which owns the station, decided to change the format from Country to Variety Hits as "Max-FM". 92.7 has been on the air though since March 08'.

Ok thanks. Leamington is basically straight across Lake Erie from where I am but if that station was country just like the one in London then I may have very well heard them both interchangeably. We had a station here recently change format from Mix 106.5 (Hot AC) to 106.5 the Lake (Variety Hits)
