92.7 Rev

Does anyone else have a hard time picking up the station? I live in the East Bay and, for the life of me, cannot pick it up without major static.

I've been able to hear 92.7 in San Jose dating back to 2002 when it was the techno/dance music "92.7 Party" format, contrary to Radio-Locator's map suggesting very low coverage in the South Bay. 92.7 is currently playing worship music.

This is the first report of anything on the signal in a few weeks. Apparently VCY has been able to get something up and running. Wonder if it's originating in California or Milwaukee.
My source in the East Bay says it's still dead air on 92.7. Going on two weeks now.

It will mark 30 days this Thursday (4/15) since the LMA was supposed to take effect. I've seen nothing from the court or the receiver during this time. The receiver (Larry Patrick) is the licensee.

Meanwhile, the record labels want the money from the station sales released to them:

There will be a hearing on May 10th. My guess is that since the receiver still is the licensee, and the station sales haven't been approved, that the money hasn't exchanged hands yet.

Interesting tho that VCY is running their new signal out of Las Vegas already. Just wondering tho if VCY does have plans to own 92.7 or if they will sell once its all said and done...

According to Larry Patrick, they have access to all three stations now.

Yes I noticed that too. Salem, Family and Relevant radio seem not to focus about ratings. Then most likely VCY will probably do the same too. But then again who knows once the sale closes VCY could also turn around and sell 92.7 just to make a profit especially coming from a big radio market like San Francisco Bay Area...
