92.7 "WCRS-LP" testing their new frequency.

Looks like WCRS-LP is testing their new frequency at 92.7 with 24/7 "Yesterday's Top Secrets" one of the shows featured on WCRS-LP 102.1

Audio seemed a little flat to me when I listened today in Worthington down to Upper Arlington. The audio seem to lack ‘brightness’ I hear in some other stations. I wonder what they are using for audio processing.

I also found it interesting in the TOH announcement they announced “possible frequency” last I checked 92.7 is the licensed frequency of the new station and I am not quite sure where else on the dial the station could go.

I will have to travel to South West Franklin County to see how they battle it out with WEFC-LP broadcasting from Galloway.

Signal wise was able to hear the station in the car all the way from Worthington to the west side. Station faded around Wilson Rd/Trabue Rd on west side (well outside of the 60 dBu for the new 92.7 signal) then I could pick up WEFC-LP Galloway. There was actually places on the west side (West Broad St) where I could hear TNN's 92.7 instead of WEFC-LP of course with static but on the west side both signals fought it out. TNN is running processing hotter on their signal compared to WEFC that's for sure.
