92.9 - Should CBS Flip Dave?

Would it be smart if CBS Radio flipped 92.9 to say CHR and call it 92.9 Amp Radio or 92.9 Now FM? This as 95.5 The Beat has left the market. It might be bad as CBS does own V 103.

HELL to the NO, no more crap rap and hip hop, if anything I wish Dave would broaden their 70 and 80s list. I am personally happy 'The Beat" is no more.

Take a station that has positive cash flow and flip it into a format to cover a station that was barely breaking even. Oh, and you have to take out Q100 and the Bert Show plus put a hurting on Star before you make a nickel.

They say there are no bad questions but this is pretty close.

Dave just had its best month ever and draws very high-end demographics. No reason to change now.
Unless Neil Millman is taking over.

Look, flipping DAVE and V10. makes perfect sense. In addition, Removing the Bert Show now wold be the best thing Cumulus cold to at this juncture.

Will you please bring oldies to it's rightful home on Atlanta's biggest stick and let Randy and Spiff do the rest.

Stick to sports there Tibbsie. True Oldies should be where it can get the biggest exposure - 97.9. As has been discussed, 92.9 will flip to all-Jewish programming with Jimmy, Mara, Rich Sullivanstein, Margot Smithberg, Renee Washinstone and Yvonne Monetwitz.

Hey Neil, since you want to change the 2 CBS Radio FMs to religious formats, what will you do with their AM, WAOK 1380? :p

That is one of the DUMBEST THINGS I've ever heard on this board. CBS Radio Atlanta is doing well, so leave it be.

I got it - turn 92.9 into a simulcast of WAOK! That ought to get WSB quaking in their boots!
