Has anyone heard what CC will do with 92.,1 in Vineland? Seems strange to keep a Class A, which is too far from Philly and Wilmington, unless they plan to move it closer or consolidate it with one of these groups. It only covers part of South Jersey, with it's oldies format it might work well if it was closer to Dover-Wilmington.

WVLT's "CC" is not "Clear Channel" but "Clear Communications, Inc" 100% owned by Charles McCreery.

They are not going to do anything with WVLT-FM 92.1.It's 6,000 watts max.In the 90's they chose not to increase their signal when the toer in Corbin City became available. They could have increased to 25,000 watts but had to move their studios .Could not endure the expense! With WXTU (92.5) in Philly, they can not increase the power anymore. There is a chance they may stream after the New Year, but that all dedends on the price tag.The station runs on a shoe-string budget, and whatever it profits, the owner pockets.

Hey Geek Boy,if you ever been in the station,it's the size of a broom closet. If you don't like the station, let us know how you really feel.
