Who says CBS Radio has to call it Amp Radio 92.3. The website 97.1 in LA is www.ampradio.com no 97.1 in it. If CBS wanted to bring in CHR they could call it B 92, Mix 92.3, etc.

Well, let's turn that point around on its head: just because some formats have succeeded in LA but failed in NY (though Free FM was hardly a rousing success there either), that doesn't mean that all formats that have succeeded in LA will fail in NY, and especially a format like a CHR with potentially very wide appeal.
