93.1 In Montgomery

As I was surfing the dial, this past Friday, my scan stopped on 93.1.  I didn't hear nothing but some static.  However the stereo light did come on.

I didn't think Montgomery had a station, at 93.1.  If they are fixing to get one, what will be on it?

Just curious.

For those wondering, I was in Montgomery, behind the Baptist Hospital and State Convention office, when I was scanning.

I see two applications for translators at 93.1 but neither have been granted construction permits. It was the Selma AFR and Decatur BBN stations that applied.

I thought there was an allocation for a class A licensed to Coosada.

According to the FCC website, there is an allocation for Coosada on 93.1 (I was thinking it was allocated to Montgomery). There are also two competing applications for a translator on that frequency in Montgomery: one for Bible Broadcasting Network, the other is for American Family Association.
