How nice would it be if CC proves to be so out of touch as to call a new rock station, "HOT"! Please let that happen!!
I remember when KFIV-102.3 used to id as HOT ROCK 102 back in 1984 when they were AOR, so theoretically, CC can call a Rock Station HOT but lately that term has been associated with a CHR Type Of Format.

They need to increase 93.1's volume levels. With a rimshot signal, they at least need to sound like a local full market FM to have a chance. If I switch thru my presets, I have to turn up the vol for 93.1 to match the other locals. Even 92.1 sounds louder. CC should be making adjustments to the processing to get the best sound out of that signal while doing this stunting. Right now they sound like my ipod fm transmitter!

In this economy, why even waste time with stunting? Get your permanant format on and begin establishing the station/brand. Especially with a new frequency...99% of listeners currently don't even know this signals exists!!
Amazing! In Northwest Stockton (in vicinity of I-5 and Eight Mile Road), I can receive both 92.1 AND 93.1 Loud And Clear! No Interference At All! The Only Sacramento Area Radio Stations That I can't Pick Up are 97.9 (due To KWIN-97.7 and KISQ-98.1), 103.5 AND 103.9 (due to KATM-103.3, KDJK-103.9 and KHKK-104.1) and 105.5 (due To KRVR on same frequency). But both KCCL-92.1 and the new KHJQ-93.1 comes in Loud And Clear! Go Figure! ???
