I'll add that it also was the same format that Party's sister station in Orlando, 95.3 Party also worked with, although that was a much weaker signal. They were handicapped compared to the "big" signals in Orlando, but unlike Party Miami, they did feature actual breathing, live, radio personalties and thus were able to interact with their small but loyal audience. The "Mix Factory" mixshows on the weekends were impressive as well.
I'll give Cox a little credit for attempting to give dance a fair shot in Miami, Orlando, and San Antonio, although it's been said many times by members on this board (including myself) that Party Miami could have been executed, much, much better.
