93.1 The Party to become Channel 9-3-1

Clear Channel Las Vegas is planning to flip Party to a new CHR format, to battle out 98.5 KLUC, 104.3 Now FM, and to a lesser extent, Hot 97.5. They will take the name Channel 9-3-1, named after the successful Channel 9-5-5 in Detroit and Channel 9-3-3 in San Diego. CC also decided whether they take the Morning Zoo from KLUC and put it on the new 9-3-1, and jocks will also be local. CC also annouced they will start off 10,000 songs commercial free.

Hopefully they also bring back the house music mixes... but lets see how it will go.

WOW! That's amazing that CC would ANNOUNCE that they were going to change formats BEFORE they actually did it. And that they would try to hire "The Morning Zoo" from CBS, their direct competitor. That is almost unheard of in radio! CBS must be furious!

Oh... wait... You must think we are all suckers. Happy April Fools Day!

BTW... the Vibe prank at least fooled a few people.

That would be real smart when KPLV is beating KLUC and KVEG in key female demos. Lame post. You must not have much to do.
 
I can appreciate a well planned, well researched April Fool's joke, but this one was just spontaneous and weak.

Of all the April Fools jokes I was exposed to today that was the only one I fell for. Nick kept it simple which made it more believable.
