93.1 The Wolf vs. Rooster 106.1

I think they got it backwards.

I know, WRDU airs the Tar Heels. But "The Wolf" should be in Raleigh.

Even this morning, years after Mix 106 in Charlotte improved its signal, when the DJ gave the number to call if you had a request, after 106-1 my mind automatically inserted RRRR DDDD UUUU.

Even though I haven't heard anyone say that for years.

The Wolf would fit in quite well in Raleigh; the only problem is, the only North Carolina branch Entercom has is in Greensboro...

Well, I meant WRDU could have been The Wolf. If someone had thought of it.

Well, the Wolf pulled a major, ahem, "foe paw" this afternoon... Sometime after 12, they played "Jesus Take The Wheel" - the non-twang, AC version! OOPS!

I didn't know there was any other version. I heard that on a stereo at my aunt's house. Stereo makes that garbage sound ten times worse.

That's the only version they play. Yesterday I heard the same Reba song twice within 15 minutes. The Wolf really sucks. I feel no connection to it. If you call them, you get an answering machine. There is no email address for listeners. I won't hesitate to call or email them and give them my opinion, if that were possible. TQR isn't doing much better IMO. They have taken to playing "Leave The Pieces" every two hours. I don't want to hear any song that often. Time to shut the radio off and listen to my MP3 player or CD's. that makes me sad since I love the radio.
