93.3 coast fm

just wondering how this happend.... was listining to coast all afternoon while working on the truck...( i actually like the way the station has been sounding lately) anyways i noticed now they run amaizin 80s from 5-7pm followed by retro-stars 7-9....well call me nuts but around 745 retro stars went to a commercial and then they came back w/ amazing 80s again.. did anyone else catch this...im gonna assume it was a computer glitch... i would have figured there would be a board-op in the studio while these shows run just incase a problem comes up no?

Interesting listening on Coast FM and Lite Rock 105

I like that Coast has flavored up the variety by adding more 70's and 80's dance, but what is Lite Rock 105 trying to accomplish by playing 60's Motown? Dancing In The Streets? I Can't Help Myself? Just a sample of what can be heard. Are they becoming the new oldies station? It would be nice if they had more consistent upbeat music instead of still playing sleepy slow songs during the day. They already have the Lunchtime with the 70's request hour which listeners request mainly dance, soul, or softer pop songs that B101 rarely plays. Now Lite Rock 105 is playing more 60's Motown than ever. Seems like they are trying to make up for what B101 left behind by playing more of the music they all but abandoned. 93.3 Coast FM is now playing 60's! I heard Dock Of The Bay by Otis Redding today. Looks like Lite Rock 105 is going after B101, playing the music they all but abondoned in favor of classic hits, mainly rock hits. Coast FM is going after Lite by now playing 60's and more 70's pop and dance. Confused yet?

I have been noticing the same thing. WSNE playing more dance and a few 60's. not as much as Lite though.
The one thing that agravates me to a tee is Delilah. I work with a girl who insists on listening to Delilah. It's not her show that drives me nuts but a couple of other things. For example.

A couple of weeks ago WSNE at 6:55 played "Everything I do " by Bryan Adams.
At 7:35 Delilah plays it. 35 minutes later.
Next is timing of stop sets.
At 7:55 comes to mind. WSNE's stopset runs over and whatever song Delilah is playing comes in half way through.

Can someone please time thier breaks so they fit in the alloted time so this does not happpen?

But in all WSNE is sounding better.
As for B101. I am not crazy about the jingles.
I did notice WSNE, WWBB and WSRS all have song ID's. Is this this from the powers to be.

i also like the way wsne is sounding.... like i said in the past and i still say delilah needs to go...... it just doesnt fit the format of the station anymore.... lite rock 105 has art on at night.... but i think he does a good job and his show does fit the format of there station.... and as far as the stop sets at wsne during delilahs show..... again isnt there someone there to adress theres problems???? anyways where does delilah broadcast from? is she live and syndicated? cause i know diffrent stations run her in diffrent time slots..... something i always wondered about
