93.3 FLZ Happy Birthday

93.3 FLZ, Tampa Bay is celebrating 25 years on the air as a CHR/Top 40/Pop formatted station. I'm not connected with them in any way, so this is not a plug... just want to congratulate the folks for carrying this format for so long. Many great talents have done duty over these 2 1/2 decades since the so called "Power Pig Days" from 1989-1995, and it's great that Clear Channel will recognize that heritage of FLZ through these 25 years on '''September 25th, 2014 at 8:00 AM. To the hard working folks broadcasting live out on Gandy Boulevard, I say Happy Birthday to Tampa Bay's #1 Hit Music Channel, 93.3 FLZ. I think the Kane Show will come to Tampa for a while and broadcast there to have like a half-hour "93.3 FLZ Birthday Remix" and do a pre-recorded stream for their other 5, now 6 other stations that broadcast the show, and their other affiliates are in D.C., Memphis, Cincy, Baltimore, Louisville, and now Harrisburg. It's not their birthday today when I posted this, but I just put it when the time comes.

Oh, I think I forgot something, maybe they may do a "Phrase that Pays" kind of contest like some of their higher market sister stations (ex. Z100-NY, Wild 94.9-SF.) They might do their phrase like this "93.3 FLZ IS TAMPA BAY'S #1 HIT MUSIC CHANNEL FOR 25 YEARS." Possibly if they do that, they also have to do it to 6 other stations, as Kane might have to respond some listeners to do this phrase on the other stations, but maybe he will do them sepreately, when they put their music on to answer people in Memphis, Washington D.C., Louisville, Cincinnati, Baltimore, and also their new affiliate in Harrisburg (most really want Dave and Jimmy back in Harrisburg.) I also think that Katie Sommers, Scotty Davis, and Brody should answer them too. In Memphis, it may be like "101.9 KISS FM PLAYS ALL THE HITS FOR MEMPHIS." Almost all of you don't know them here in Tampa, but maybe Carson (she is a girl), Kobi (not similiar nor related to Kobe Bryant from L.A.), and Brodee (not Brody here from TAMPA.) Their sister station in D.C. is already doing this. In Louisville it may be like, "98.9 RADIO NOW/KISS FM (if they ever switch) IS LOUISVILLE'S #1 FOR NEW MUSIC", and I think DJ's Jon, Mack, and Rucker will do this. In Cincinatti, it will be like "KISS 107 IS CINCINNATI'S HIT MUSIC STATION", and D-Lo and Jare will answer when people call them. In Baltimore, it will be like, "Z104.3 IS BALTIMORE'S HIT MUSIC STATION", and Elizabethany and Kruz will answer phone calls. Oh, I almost forgot Harrisburg, and they will be like "99.3 KISS FM IS HARRISBURG'S #1 HIT MUSIC STATION", and Mike Miller, Big Mike, Glenn & Bob, Samantha, and Marlyn will do this.

;) TODAY IS THE DAY! Today is 93.3 FLZ's 25th year on the air. And I was kinda right that The Kane Show told this to all of his other affiliates that today is FLZ's birthday.
