93.3 HD-2?

When is the HD-2 comming to KDHT? I'd like to listen to Old school hiphop some at work. Got a HD Radio for work now. Will it ever be on?

I think 93.3 will change there Format and get rid of a few people later this year or maybe Next Year. As far as old school music on HD2... No More like all Rap In HD2 underground music and so on...

I would like to listen to oldschool hip hop as well but I dont care at this point. Im quite happy jamming out to Mega HD2, dance is my favorite type of music anyways.

Yeah I really enjoy HD Radio, its working well in Austin now. I hope it will work well. We're listening to it at work now with my older HD Radio its good to have different choices.

Well, I actually have some insight to 93.3 HD2 since I work for the company. It will come back, and hopefully soon. It went off due to a major equipment failure that occurred right after it was launched. Believe it or not, a truck hit a power pole near the transmitter and caused a ton of equipment to burn out. The engineers are still awaiting a few things to get the HD2 up and running (even though the HD1 is on now)

Thanks for the love on Mega. Glad you like it, and we are getting some good feedback with it too. We are having fun and hope it sounds like it. (shameless plug) - We are streaming it at megahd2.com

One more thing- Juan you are totally wrong about Hot 933. It does VERY well, has a passionate staff, and owns the franchise. Last time I checked, that's not a recipe for a format change.

Hip Hop is also an Emmis corporate speciality.
