93.3 KLIF-FM Format Change Airchecks

EDIT: Well, this is embarrassing…I went back and listened to these files…and the audio quality sounds like total crap! I checked everything before I started the recording and thought everything was good to go. The USB device I use seems to default to mono for some reason, as I don’t leave it plugged in, and I believe that’s what happened. Sorry guys, I tried!! 😔

I saw that someone already posted a scoped aircheck to YouTube of 93.3 KLIF-FM’s format change, but if anyone is interested, I’ve uploaded a few different unscoped files below.

Please note, that this was recorded off of 93.3’s HD1 signal from indoors in Grand Prairie, so there might be few HD dropouts here and there, especially at the beginning of the 9 hour files. Also, the exact time of the switch to WBAP was at 8:20:13 a.m. on 1/3/2024, give or take a second or two.

9 hours - Starts at 11:56:57 p.m. on 1/2/2024



5 hours - Starts at 4:00:51 a.m. on 1/3/2024




Starts at 8:00:23 a.m. on 1/3/2024




Last Legal ID as Hot 93.3




First Legal ID on 93.3, simulcasting WBAP

Re: the 5am Legal ID, it's interesting they've switched to the KNX News imaging package by TM Studios. Their former imaging matched to the syllables of WBAP, but this melody is more generic.
