I saw a light when they went local with G Wiz doing middays..Listening the other day they have now piped in Uptown Angela from New Orleans (Q93). When will the maddness end..and T Roy is so confused he answered the phone the other day in Jacksonville with..POWER 99! I know he voice track in Philly and Savannah but come on dude! get it right!
 
I said it before hot 1057 had a chance to kill the beat but they didnt know what they was doing from the start and i tried to reach out to them with proposals multiple times to program them, such a shame when they flipped to UAC and the beat got cheaper and cheaper more than i can ever imagine :-\

It's #9 in the Jacksonville December PPM book. It's too soon to tell considering PPM has just been implemented in the market in the past month.

As I told you guys a long time ago, outside of KMEL & WWPR, Clear Channel doesn't care about urban radio. If you aren't a money maker then you don't get much attention. Jacksonville is just another casuality to Clear Channel's poor management.

If the local market manager did care they would allow some creativity of the station, but that's if they cared...
 
I definitely see where you coming from your i see your example with a lot of smaller urban clear channel radio stations.

Music to me is a bit better than WQBT in Savannah. How many station does T-Roy VT on thought he was local to J ville and just VT'd on WQBT and was a Premium Choice DJ.

o my clear Channel premium choice is not a joke they could Voice Track all whole station in every day part smh
 
Don't even forget to mention that they are on iheartradio overnights in how many markets? I can go from Chicago to Milwaukee and hear the exact breakes between WGCI and WKKV with a minor adjustment of a "localized" break or song inserted here and there, and also caught them multiple times announcing the wrong song that just played or will play.

Its so stupid. And a shame!!
 
LOL, Clear Channel has the VT game on lock on Urban/Rhythmic radio. Sad thing is most listeners probaly don't realize those jocks aren't local. Cumulus also does VT between E93 JAMZ in Savannah and 98.5 KISS FM in Myrtle Beach.
 
lol Clear Channel should at least make a national play list if their going to VT During a day-part or overnight so the on-air personalities don't mention the wrong songs lol
 
the thing i see is a national network for all dayparts soon. period. pretty much kiss ur jobs bye bye worse than ever now.
